The sniffles, A cold, The flu no its....

Just a few short weeks ago I had a cold with a minor fever (101) so I was calling it a mini-flu, well I guess I never really got over it because the mini flu has turned itself into Pneumonia and under threat of hospitalization, I have been bedridden especially since I have never smoked and I am not of a certain age. The doctor wants to keep an eye on me but not too close of an eye say at the hospital. I was okay with that. This is the first opportunity I have had to get on the computer in days and I thought I would make a quick post.

I am not even at home. My Mom picked up my children and me and took us to her house. She said we'd have better care there. She is right of course.

I have never had Pneumonia before. The pain in your chest is incredible! The codeine laced cough syrup does even take the edge off.

The princess is desperate to pick a winner but since we aren't near the prize and didn't think it fair to pick the winner yet. So since Mother Nature has made me delayed if you want to get in your late entries, be my guest.

Sharon, I'm glad to see you are getting better that you made this post. Now get back to bed!
I had Pneumonia in the 7th month of my pregnancy with my son. I was 19 and spent a week in the hospital. Not fun.
Now for the Princess pick. I heard Golden Compus is a bit much for the younger set. It has a PG13 rating. Enchanted now has McDreamy. How good is that on the eyes for Mom. Plus, since we grew up with the Enchanted cast I think we, the adult kid, will get more enjoyment than a kid.
Take care. Glad your with your Mom and under house arrest. Take baby steps.

oh no! let your mom take good care of you. we all know that us mom's take good care of our kids, but rarely ourselves! sneak in some knitting if you get a chance, but something simple because the codeine might not get a good combination with something complex... ; )

Oh gosh! I hope you feel better soon! Glad you're at your mom's house, though. Our mama's always take good care of us, no matter how old we get. :-)

Hope you feel better soon. I had it a few years ago - not so good. After I got better it was still at least a month until I had my energy back. Take it easy as long as you can! Wishing you my best!

Loving purple is one thing... feeling blue is another!
Get well soon!

Get well soon! I'm sure there's nothing like your mom to help the healing along. Will it cheer you to know that the Knight had insisted that Sissy be dressed (as in collar, leash, coats) in purple?! She looks so good in it that I agreed, and am now buying purple things for the dog with glee.

Big hugs, and warm tea to you dear.

I'm sending hugs and virtual chicken soup (although I am sure that Mom is taking very good care in that department!)

Get better soon and spoil yourself!!!!

Feel better! There seem to be lots of nasty germs around this season.
