Bamboo Drawstring Bag

Yarn: Royal Bamboo 100% bamboo by Plymouth Yarn Italian collection 93 yards
Pattern: Give it a Whirl Bag from the July 2006 "Creative Knitting" (pattern requires 196 yds worsted weight)
Modifications: Shorter ruffle and quicker decrease
Although this says it is an intermediate skill level, if you know how to knit with circular needles, do YO and K2tog it is pretty simple. It is 5' of i-cord all together so I felt like I was i-cording forever (not really) and you have to be careful not to split the yarn. The Plymouth Bamboo is very silky, has a sheen to it and is very smooth and soft. The Princess wants to steal it so you know its a good one, LOL

Beautiful! May have to find that issue and make one of my own, although I have A LOT more than that left over...

cute bag! I think I've fallen in love with the feel of knitting bamboo...but I haven't tried the brand you posted about.

I hope Plain Vanilla starts treating you better!

It looks beautiful!!! Did you knit on bamboo needles? Man that stuff is slippery! I've found that my maple wood needles hold it better.
