100th Post with a Contest

Wow, where did the time go? 100th post already? It has been a great 100 posts on this blog. You have helped me along with my crafty things, knitting, soaping, crafting with The Princess and Miss Sunshine. You have taken me out of swap "rehab" and thrown me right back into the whirlwind of swaps which, of course, I am completely loving.

So, in honor of Blog post #100 I am having a contest!! Just leave a comment as to why you love blogging and what post number you are up to on your own blog (of you know) and I'll use the random number generator to pick a winner. (Or I will have the Princess pick a name out a hand knit hat) I will give you till next Friday to get your entries in. Here's the prize:

A 2 ounce jar of Tropical Monoi Salve, Monoi De Tahiti Liquid Soap and Madagascar Vanilla Oil, all handmade and all 100% natural. It is my favorite product that I make; smells divine without fragrance add. Good Luck!!

166 posts, not including the one I'll do later today! I love blogging because it's a great, visual way to keep up with old friends and make new friends. I find it highly social, and since I'm at a busy stage of life (running around with The Teen and The Preteen), it's nice to have this outlet.

I am at number 668. Why do I like blogging? I find that as I find my way through life, the friends I have made, real friends, are somewhat scattered about. The blog lets them keep up with me, and It also allows new friendships tp be formed. I recently went to a blog meet up in CT, I am in TX, and met about 20 women I have known online only for a variety of years. It was awesome and it is why I keep at it, connections from the Universe are always timely.

I am half way there with 50 posts!

I have written 259 posts so far. I love blogging because it allows me a window into the public from the comfort of my own home, and gives me a way to communicate with other fiber artists around the world. The community is a lifeline to me!

I was surprised to find that I only have 31 posts on my blog. It feels like more since I do try to put thought into each one. I was unable to find local friends who are passionate about knitting so I was so glad to find that blogging works well and helped me find a knitting community.

It says I'm up to 68 posts. Or did it say 78? Eh, you get the idea. ;)

I love blogging because it lets me talk to people who share the same interests as me, share my ups and downs with knitting and life, make friends, and it gives me that adult conversation that I so desperately need after a day of "toddler" talk.

Happy 100th Post, Sharon! *raises coffee cup* Here's to many more!

Hi! I'm here via the Knitters Tea Swap. Such fun, huh?
Happy Bloggiversary! That's a great prize! I like blogging because I don't know any knitting people IRL. Now I feel like I need to blog things. If something happens I think..."I gotta blog that!" As of right now I have posted to my blog 56 times and received 258 comments. I'm still a newbie...blogger and knitter. :D

Blogging has provided a new outlet for me to express my thoughts, creativity and to share my love of knitting with many, many kindered spirts!

I have met so many awesome people these past 2 years! I don't know that I could do with out it now:)

I am on my 84th post! Wow maybe I should have one of these contests too. I do plan on having one for my 500th comment... I am at 483 now so pretty close. Probably next week.

I'm up to 220. I started blogging to keep a record of my knitting, to connect with other knitters since there are few groups in my area, and because I like computery things.

I'm up to 255 since September 2005. I started blogging as a way to keep notes and photos on my various knitting projects. But my blog has expanded to include lots of other topics, and now I blog to have a creative outlet for myself and to participate in the larger community of creative bloggers out there.

Diane said...

163 posts. I really like to blog because it allows me to keep track of all my projects and see what I've done when I get in those knitting funks.

I'm at 405 and blogging lets me save my co-workers, friends and family from stuff I need to go on and on about. Mostly. Sometimes the blog is my test run and they get the idea after it has been formed for blog-ness. And where else (outside of a yarn store) would other people ooh and aah when you post a picture of yarn?

I am at my 225th post. I've been blogging for almost two years. I loved reading blogs and finally took the plunge. I wasn't sure if anyone would read my blog, but I have met some great friends. I like blogging because it's a great way to ramble about what is on my mind and not bother anyone who isn't interested. And it's been a wonderful way to meet people.

I am at post #428 in my journal. I love to blog/journal because it gives me an opportunity to bounce ideas, thoughts, or emotions off and either vent or meditate. And also to keep in touch with friends.

I don't know if my journal link worked. Just in case not, it's http://alseedus.livejournal.com/profile?mode=full

It says I'm at post 90, but that's because I didn't really know how to get pictures from flickr. I deleted a bunch, so I don't know. Anyway, I like blogging, because it's a way to meet a lot of people with similar interests. I like to see what people are doing to get ideas. I spend most of my day with 2 kids under 2, and blogging is a link to the grownup world. And since I graduated, I feel like I have spare time to use up! :)

I love blogging because I have met so many interesting people who I wouldn't have met any other way! Also, it gives me a space to write things down that I want to remember :)

I love blogging as it gives me a sense of community. Where I live there a few people who I can really talk to, so blogging is a way to make friends with common interest! I also like blogging because it allows me to post pictures of my recent stash exhanhancements and then my Mum can log on to my blog and have a look at what I've been up to! I think I'm on my 32nd post....

I hadn't realised it but I have just passed my 100th post milestone with 106posts on my blog since starting on 5th January 2007 (what a boring post it was too! lol). How did that sneak past I wonder? However, the 100th post, was a special one with Barry making a guest appearance! Clicky How on earth did I make so many postings? Well I suppose it is because the whole blogging experience is so enjoyable. I am going through some major changes in my life which are taking much longer than I had ever anticipated to reach a conclusion and my health is up and down as a result. What I am trying to say is that I love blogging, I feel able to forget my woes through my creatvity and reading other's blogs really helps me to focus on the things which are important to me. Blogging is the best therapy, like minded friends, all over the world...it's simply amazing

I have a measly 14 posts as I only started mine in April. I love the knitblog community and I thought I'd start one to document my adventures in learning how to knit, as I only learned how to knit in Dec. last year. I love being inspired by other knitters out there and hope I can someday knit as well as all of you :)

I love to blog because I've met so many neat people!!! I'm at post 218!

I love blogging because it lets me keep a journal of my knitting. Thinking, things I learn, frustrations and interests. Yarns I use, needles I try - everything. It also allows me to share my knitting with my sister even though we're 5000 miles apart!

The next post she or I does will be 281 for us :o

I love blogging because it helps me to keep track of my knitting. Without it, it is easy to forget what I've done. Blogging helps me follow my interests.

I'm on #55 right now. I love blogging because it helps me keep track of my projects, which interestingly enough, keeps me off the computer at home so I have knitting to report!

I am at 74 posts. I love blogging because I enjoy being both an observer and an exhibitionist. I really do like to read about what other people are doing or making and I love showing other people what I'm doing or making. It's a win/win situation :)

I am at 138 as of right now. I may post in a minute but haven't decided if I should do that or go to bed and post tomorrow. Anyway...I love to blog so that I have not only a visual record but a record period of what is going on in our lives.

So I only have a misly 45, but I am working my way there. I love blogging first and for most for the friends that I have made. As silly as it sounds, I think this are friendships that will last and it all started with my knitting blog. I also enjoy sharing my projects and asking questions and having people help me along the way. The whole experience continues to be fantastic and I can't wait for my 100 posts! By the way I love your swap idea!!! Very cool - can't wait to sign up.

I was a solo knitter just as I was a solo soapmaker, before finding an online community of other women who share these interests. Using my blog and the yahoos groups keeps me interested and learning so much AND I've found wonderful friends both online and IRL! I'm up to 120 posts on my blog.

I have 47 posts so far... I love blogging because I love creating a space for people to visit and I enjoy being part of this great big huge conversation.

Blogging is bringing me out my shell in a way. It is a way for me to be expressive and share my life. I love the way that a certain post might prompt somebody on the other side of the world to comment ( i love comments) and by doing so I meet all of interesting, fascinating people. Blogging also makes me think actively about what I've done everyday, and about how to express myself in a more creative way.

I just reached 108 posts. What I love most about blogging is that I get to have friends from all over the world that I would not get to meet any other way.

I have a couple of blogs. I am on 24 on my craft blog. I just started it in February when I learned to knit. I like blogging because it gives me a chance to vent about things without driving my husband crazy listening to me, lol. I also like showing off my work, my husband and 3 little boys just don't appreciate my projects very much.

I'm up to 32 posts on my knitting blog. I enjoy blogging because it allows me to view my progress and feel like I actually accomplished something with my sticks and string. Also, I love the knitting blog community and, of course, there support and input.

I'm halfway there, with 50 posts and counting! I really love knitblogging, primarily for the community aspect of it all. I would never have suspected a few months ago that I'd be getting and giving comments, email, and real posted packages to/from knitters and spinners all over the globe! How neat is that?
